Belgium: 60% against headscarf at work

According to a study by employment agency Randstad, 60% of workers in Belgium think it not appropriate to wear a headscarf of other religious symbols at work. About just as many employees think the same of wearing a very short mini-skirt. 50% have problems with piercings and 40% think tattoos or weird hair colors should not be allowed.

The study shows that Belgians see coworkers as more than just people they work with. About 75% go on breaks together with their colleagues and 50% invite their colleagues home.
